It's been a long while since I blogged here, but that doesn't mean I've not been blogging. My focus over the past few months has been on the topic of social commerce, which is using social media in a retail environment to produce, get this, actual dollars.
I'm currently writing weekly feature articles for Practical eCommerce, an online publication I've worked with for years. More recently, I started blogging for Social Commerce Today, a site with a strict focus on social commerce.
I hope to resume blogging here whenever possible, as I realize the importance of doing so, but my time is limited. So, look for my writings at those other two venues.
Most of my writing these days is done at Practical Ecommerce, an online magazine devoted to helping smaller online businesses grow and prosper. The beat I cover there is social commerce. I write weekly feature articles and maintain a blog called The Social Retailer. Here is a roll up of some of my more recent articles and blog posts.

@americanairlines gate agent was just rude to a foreign passenger; he doesn't speak or read English. Patience was called for, not rudeness.

Met some guys from Ukraine tonight in the hotel restaurant. I spent 10 days last year traveling that country doing social media training for Ukrainian business people. They invited me to their table and we had a nice visit and I got to share a few of my more memorable moments while there. One thing I've learned from my travels is that people are more alike than they are different.
